Sorry it has taken so long to get this information up on the site.
Toronto BMX and Mike Heaton will not be looking after the Toronto BMX Jam 2015.
With all of the work involved in getting my new school up and running, I decided that it was time to let someone else look after the Jam. Everything always needs a fresh look.
They plan on unveiling the new plans by mid December.
A big “THANK YOU” to all of you who have supported our event over the past 7 years: the riders, judges, announcers, sponsors, volunteers, community organizations, the City of Toronto and Al Crawford for promoting the sport through the addition of BMX parks and programmes in communities, Toronto Police Service and Scott Mills for community connections, publicity and live feeds. It has all made for memorable growth.
Dennis Enarson and the Markit Team were here for a week in August this past summer to try out the new park. It was such a success that we will be having another Markit “Week” next summer, 2 weeks in August.
A great memory of Toronto BMX Jam was having the event featured on The Rick Mercer Report
