“End of Season, Start of Fall Wallace BMX Jam” #TOBMXJam Saturday September 29, 2012 9am-5pm

Everyone Welcome to attend “End of Season, Start of Fall BMX Jam” Saturday September 29, 2012 9am-5pm at Wallace Emerson Community Centre, 1260 Dufferin St, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Parks and Recreation has officially approved SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 29 as the new date for the BMX Event at Wallace Emerson Recreation Centre.  The schedule will remain the same:

9:00 Registration opens for the day. No charge, but you must complete a waiver. Dirt, freestyle and Best Trick will have openings for Beginners, Amateurs, Open and Ladies.

10:30 Dirt events (we hope – the new home for the metal ramps is under construction in that section of the park so we”ll do the dirt if we possibly can)

12:00 Food and snacks

1:00 Freestyle event featuring a BMX comp Jam format

4:00 Best Trick Comp

5:00ish Closing.

Please come out and enjoy the park’s BMX features with all of your friends. It’s been a great year, what with the new metal ramps, the return of the wood ramps, and continuous upkeep of the dirt park. Over 800 children were introduced to the sport this summer through Parks and Recreation programmes, and so many local riders have improved so much over the months. Good work all! Mike Heaton

Come to Wallace Emerson BMX Bike Park Saturday September 29, 2012 | All Welcome!
